Before you dive into those NY Ressies, slow down!

Happy New Year, Reader!

Are you looking ahead? Have you named some intentions? Wait, though! Hold on a hot second! Did you thank yourself for everything you did in 2024?

I know it's officially 2025, but I think that before you get cooking on your hopes and dreams for this year, it's in your best interest to think about the big moments of 2024. What brought you joy? What moments brought you pain? Once you've had a chance to go through and name those for yourself, check in and reflect on who supported/celebrated with you during those times. Were you able to show up for yourself during those times and see them as the challenges and celebrations that they were? Did people in your life tune in and offer you a sounding board?

Maybe you've done this reflecting and you’re feeling ready to power ahead. Go slow, reader. It is very much the middle of winter and resting is still highly in order. Keeping in mind all that you did for yourself in 2024 is going to help you embrace 2025 more fully.

Need a little help getting started on this year? My Power Change workbook is available for sale on my website (www.amykvaughn.com) or on Amazon.. Check out the exercises in Step 2: Reflect & Observe. I also love Step 7: Record Your Purpose & Map Your Plan. Step 7 is great because the exercise allows you to release things from your life that are not serving you, which makes a little more space to welcome in that which you desire.

And, maybe you’re tired of hearing me saying this every week, but I’m here for you. What would be like to have a conversation, instead of just a newsletter exchange? Something to think about for 2025. I'm opening up my calendar for some complimentary coaching sessions, so reach out if your interested or curious.

No matter what, you’re a champ. Go thank yourself. Seriously…consider writing a thank you letter to yourself. (If this feels too silly or too challenging, then perhaps that is a healthy nudge to accept some support. You deserve to feel great about yourself in every way!)

Until next time,

Amy
