Hi, I’m Amy…

Amy Vaughn is a contemporary acrylic painter and mixed media artist. Her work celebrates our transformative power in the face of pain, loss, and change.  Amy’s art resonates with so many because it is the work of someone whose voice was silenced for years, only to come out strong and clear and colorful in midlife. As a largely self-taught artist, Amy didn't start painting regularly until she was in her 40s. Her work was first shown publicly in 2018 in Illinois, featured in the Boneyard Arts Festival. Since then, she has developed a regular art practice and thriving small business.

Amy is based in Minneapolis. She was a 2024 Growth Fund Grant recipient from the Springboard for the Arts. Amy is a happy graduate of Art2Life’s Creative Visionary Program.
