Thanks and thanks
I’ve been writing the past few weeks about the need for connection and this week, of course, we have an opportunity to do just that. I hope that each of you, in some way, whether in person or through technology, can connect with those in your life whom you love.
As thanksgiving tradition goes, I have been reflecting on all that I am grateful for. It can be easy, when things aren’t going according to plan, to zero in on what is lacking in our life, rather than focusing on what we already have that makes our lives meaningful, while still pursuing that which we want. I hate admitting it, but I have fallen into some scarcity thinking lately. Thankfully, I have supportive people around me that help remind me that my life is actually pretty great. We all need those reminders, especially when things seem to look a little bleak. Even in the darker times, we can all find things that bring meaning to our lives.
One of the things that brings meaning to my life is creating artwork and sharing it with others. It means a lot to me as an artist when I hear how my artwork resonates with someone in some way.
On Monday, December 2nd, I will host my Second Annual Online Holiday Art Event running through Monday, December 16th. You can head over to my website anytime to see what I’ve been up to this year. There are new original paintings and new matted prints in a couple of sizes. I’m also excited to share some new notecards that are available.
You can also join my Facebook group where I will highlight different paintings each day, sharing a little background about the making of each piece or the meaning behind the artwork. I’m excited to offer some give-aways throughout the event. And, dear readers, for being a subscriber, I’m offering you a 25% discount off of everything in my online studio. The discount applies to any purchase over $25, including my original pieces of artwork. This is a great time to add a piece of artwork to your home.
I’ll share more as we go, but for now, here’s how you can support me: Visit my online studio shop, join my Facebook group, share my social media posts with your friends and family and let me know what you’d love to see more of. If you exchange gifts with your loved ones, please consider purchasing an original or print version of my work. Thank you for your support.
